You know what Im talking about.
Well there have been a few things I've thought of that would make life much easier but someone beat me to it. Ok heres a couple for instance:
- A long time ago I thought it would be nice to create squeeze jelly. Later on I saw some on the grocery shelves. Your welcome Mr. Jelly container guy. (Squeeze yogurt, not my idea).
- Then one day I thought it would be nice if ketchup and mustard could sit on their lids so you wouldnt have to shake them down to squirt them out. Bam! In the stores within months afterwards.
- While lugging a whole bottle of clothes detergant to the laundromat at the campground once, I thought it would be nice if I could create single tablets that I could just carry in my pocket to toss in the machines. Yep, someone read my mind on that too.
So, I give up. Ill always get beat to the idea of anything that comes from this lefty nobrainer, so if anyone wants to take a shot at one of my last two thoughts of invention, please create a way to save left over pizza. "Pizza Keeper". Something of the sort of a layered pocketed dish that will store half a pizza in single slices. Pizza boxes are way to big for the fridge and the toppings will stick to any other dish you put them in especially if you have to stack them.
And lastly, "toothpaste tablets".
Any takers?
Bueller?
Bueller?
no taker here ;)
ReplyDeleteNo idea huh?
DeleteAs a general rule when I see something new and inventive, I say, "WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?" Something folks don't tell you is that an idea 'ain't any good' unless you can license or promote it.
ReplyDeleteTrue incident. My brother in Shelby, NC had a great idea. Found an attorney paid for a patent search and application. Never heard from the ATTY again until he saw the product advertised. It was a manual TV antenna for changing the direction of the old TV antenna when youhad to point them to the station you wanted to watch. The atty invested a million dollars into marketing and manufacturing, only to be displaced in six months buy the 'electric tenna rotar'. The ATTY lost everything. Brother said, "I am glad he stole my idea!"
I do admire your insightfulness and know down deep that you can come up with great ideas, keep 'em up. They CAN pay off, selling an idea to a large company is also a route you can take.
Hey I want to come up with a great idea, I am still waiting.
I worked for taco bell years ago. I suggested to the "big man" that they make a "burrito supreme Jr." Just like the big one but on the small four wraps same as used on the soft tacos.
DeleteNever happened and I still think it would sell.
All my best ideas STOLEN by siomeone with more money to implement them. But tbhe next BIG idea is right around the corner so I'm not giving up on that paycheck yet.
ReplyDeleteMoney is the key word there.
DeleteI've think I've seen a pizza keeper, it's like a plastic container but it's only by the slice. So a little less space that what you imagined. Would be nice. I'd always get mad at my brother when we'd get pizza. He'd find a way to shove the whole box in there while I had to wrap mine up.
ReplyDeleteClose!
DeleteI actually don't like squeeze bottles, but I do like the fire detector idea.
ReplyDeleteThe left over pizza at my house gets wrapped in tin foil. Then for reheating I just put it in the oven to reheat it.
How do you keep the toppings from sticking to the foil?
DeleteWait until the pizza is cold before wrapping them.
DeleteNever, never give up on your ideas. I'll give you a clue - anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Martin.

Win!!!
Delete☺☺ I so love that billion dollar idea ♥

Yea. It would work for me.
DeleteI want to invent a stir bar that goes in your pots. The stovetop would need a magnet in it, then you drop the stir bar in and turn it on. It stirs your food automatically. We have them in labs - why not the kitchen?!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
