While cleaning out some drawers the other day, I found some of them. They are withered, wrinkled and frail. I tried to think of some way to make them fashionable for today. So, I went to my craft bag and come up with an idea of adding beads and making a "scarflace" with a couple of them.
I like they way they turned out and I didn't have to distort them in any way. They will look good with a t-shirt and jeans on a summer day.

This is the BEST idea!! Just wait, it'll soon be all the rage. Thanks for sharing it. (I love the name and look of your blog.)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks for the sweet compliment. I was just looking at my blog few minutes ago thinking how blah it was. lol. Just a little dissapointed at my camera being dead and having to use a silly cell phone for the past two post. Hope to redo the pictures soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I have scarves from my Grandmother and Mother-in-Law that I never wear, but can't get rid of. This would be a great way to enjoy them... and I think I have the perfect beads in my stash. Thanks so much for this inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteTammy, Id love to see what yours look like when your finished!
DeleteGreat idea! I love the look of scarves in summer but don't like wrapping things around my neck. This looks like a cute alternative.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used older scarves and added beads to make them more modern. Thanks for sharing at Showcase Your Talent Thursday. I hope to see you there next week!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. Your necklaces came out very cute!
