Marshmallow Cheesy Melts

Have you ever craved something sweet and salty? Well, my favorite fix from when I was a little kid, is to put cheese and marshmallow on a Ritz cracker and toast it. I know, it sounds weird and yucky, but it is really good. You should try it sometime. I'm sure it will not be the last time you do.
Just take a Ritz cracker, a small slice of sharp cheese and 1/4 large marshmallow. stack it and toast it until the marshmallow is browned on the top.
This is a great snack for a sudden munchies urge. You have to eat them while they are warm. They are not that good once they get cold , so therefore, they do not make a good pickup at a party. Just make it your own personal snack and enjoy.

    if you like pickles, try:
    *slice of deli ham
*smear cream cheese over slice of ham
*place a whole dill pickle at one end and roll
    *slice

  3. This is one of my favorite snacks! The first time my mom introduced me to it, I thought it was really strange, but I loved it. Recently I introduced these to my wife and she had the same reaction.

  4. Grew up eating these. Except our recipe is a little different. Ritz, American cheese slice (cut in 8 squares), half a marshmallow. Bake on 350 for 7-10 mins. You can toast the last minute or two for the crispy top. Now, my grandson loves these, too. 5 generations and going strong!

  7. My husband just made us a batch of these. We've been married 20 years now and I remember the first time he told me about them. Thought he'd lost his mind. They sounded GROSS and I LOVE cheese and Ritz Crackers. Needless to say, boy was I WRONG. His mom made these when he was little. He lived in a mobile home at the time so he and his mom playfully named them Trailer Trash Cookies! I'm a fan!
